A Family Passion for Over 95 Years

"We didn't build this shop to make a living. We built it because we love old engines - and someone had to keep them running" Ron Miller, Founder

Ron's Machine Shop is a family-owned business with over 95 years of experience in the machine shop industry. We are dedicated to preserving and restoring Antique, Classic, and Obsolete Engines.

Ron's Machine Shop has been the trusted name in antique engine rebuilding --a family craft passed down with pride, precision, and a genuine love for keeping history on the road.

Ron started with the passion from his dad and grandpa, then passed this down to his son BJ.

The Legacy continues

For over 20 years; BJ and Casey have kept the family business going on with the next generation of engine rebuilders. BJ growing up in the machine shop with his dad; learning all the tricks of the trade; and wanted to become a better machinist; decided to go to college to get his Engineering Degree and soon after BJ and Casey decided to buy the business so Ron could enjoy more car shows. BJ and Casey are also part of the Antique Car Hobby; you will see them traveling around the backroads of America in there 1913 Model T Touring.

Touring around the Country

We are very lucky to to be able to attend car events through out the year. Going on monthly tours with our local Model T Ford Club to National tours with the MTFCI. We have great friends that are like family and have the best time traveling around in our 1913 Model T Touring car with our 2 girls.

Swap Meets

We attend a few swap meets through out the year; if you are looking to see our work, drop off an engine for rebuild or pickup one up give Casey a call to get this arranged.

  • March: Marietta Swap Meet
  • May: Mid-Atlantic Pre War Swap Meet, Luray VA
  • October: AACA Swap Meet, Hershey PA

*Hershey Fall Swap Meet has been a family tradition for over 70 years!
